At the moment I'm experimenting with a setup where the HN is only reachable at a private ip in the 192.168.x.x range. I would like the VE's to be reachable on public ip's. This machine has one ethernet interface. Is there a way to do this with the current venet devices in OpenVZ? I can configure it to the point where the routing has to be setup. This has to happen in the HN, but that doesn't work because it doesn't have an ip address in the same range as the VE's.

I can think of a more elaborate solution where i hook the ethernet device onto a bridge and make the VE's use the virtual ethernet devices which are also connected to the bridge. This plan still puzzles me a bit on the implementation, though.

Any ideas?
