All,

I have installed openvz on a dell box 1950 and use kernel version 2.6.18-ovz028test005.1-smp when I restart the linux box I get the following error.

syslog;
- udevd[967]: add_to_rules: invalid KERNEL operation
- add_to_rules: invalid rule '/etc/udev/rules.d/60-vzctl.rules:1'

I use FC6

please advise.

John

This was fixed a couple of weeks ago by the following commit:

http://git.openvz.org/?p=vzctl;a=commitdiff;h=fddeebb459b0e4108126447d46822be076995354

The fix will be included into vzctl-3.0.14 (which might come out next week). For now, you can just change 'KERNEL=' to 'KERNEL==' in the /etc/udev/rules.d/60-vzctl.rules file.
