My system have two hard disc (hda and hdc) with ext3 file system partitions.

After I installed kernel from OpenVZ I notice that one hard disc (hdc) disappeared from fstab - not mounted. I also notice that mount point which is used for mounting partition under hdc was mounted under root partition of the hda disc.

What is worng? Is this possibility a bug?

Please, help!!!

Bye
Dusan

No, OpenVZ doesn't modify /etc/fstab content. This problem is probably because of the OpenVZ kernel config - it doesn't contain driver for your second disk, for example.
Which kernel do you use and what is the content of /etc/modprobe.conf file?

Kernel: stable (2.6.9) or unstable (2.6.16) produce the same problem/error!

For now I can't send you the content of /etc/modprobe.conf...

Hmm... This can happen if diffrent kernels detect HDD in different order. This is common problem. To solve it use filesystem labels in fstab, grub.conf, etc. tune2fs tool sets label.

HTH,
Vasily.
