Have anybody seen the description of OOM killer system in OpenVZ?
I would like to read it since I do not understand well how it works and I suspect it to kill my application. As far as I know, it differs from standart Linux OOM killer. For instance, in Documentation/vm/overcommit-accounting in standard kernel it is mentioned that "The current overcommit limit and amount committed are viewable in /proc/meminfo as CommitLimit and Committed_AS respectively". But there's no CommitLimit parameter in OpenVZ /proc/meminfo inside my VE, only Committed_AS. So I cannot figure out if my VE is on the edge and application can be killed soon.
So, is it possible to understand what CommitLimit do I have?
