Checkpointing does not work with bind mounts? [message #8003] Thu, 02 November 2006 17:44 Go to previous message

It appears that checkpointing a VE fails if there are any bind mounts between the host and the VE. Here is what happens if I have
an NFS filesystem mounted on the host and bind-mounted to the VE:

host$ vzctl chkpnt 610
Setting up checkpoint...
suspend...
Can not suspend VE: Invalid argument
unsupported fs type nfs4
Checkpointing failed

Is there a way around this?

thanks,

Steve Gaarder
