I followed http://wiki.openvz.org/Gentoo_template_creation

And I got this:
root@vmlinuz:~# vzctl start 777
Starting VE ...
Initializing quota ...
vzquota : (error) Quota getstat syscall for id 777: Inappropriate ioctl for device
vzquota init failed [3]

Kernel is 2.6.16-026test018 on Slackware 10.1

after it failed to stop, please check
dmesg output, ps axf output, and check what processes are left in VE.

1. I can't see VE processes from ps axf...
can you also please dump:
# cat /proc/vz/veinfo
# cat /proc/*/status

2. is it possible to get an access to check it?
or can you at least provide the template so that we could try to reproduce?
