Hello,
I want to know if anyone have or if exists a patch to do the following:
Replace
top - 21:32:45 up 3 days, 10:06, 0 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
Tasks: 45 total, 1 running, 44 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 0.5% us, 0.3% sy, 0.0% ni, 98.3% id, 1.0% wa, 0.0% hi, 0.0% si
Mem: 2072036k total, 2053560k used, 18476k free, 262436k buffers
Swap: 4192956k total, 18456k used, 4174500k free, 947096k cached
with
top - 21:32:45 up 3 days, 10:06, 0 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
Tasks: 45 total, 1 running, 44 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 0.5% us, 0.3% sy, 0.0% ni, 98.3% id, 1.0% wa, 0.0% hi, 0.0% si
Mem: 524288k total, 217088k used, 307200k free, 82436k buffers
Swap: 524288k total, 0k used, 524288k free, 47096k cached
It will only show max memory (burstable memory and corrently used memory), it will be great since control panels such as directadmin and cpanel will show total server memory which will not allow most users to check their memory usage.
Thanks in advance,
SÃlvio

So you want, that users could see value of all volume memory?
I just realy don't understand why, but ok.
What version of kernel you use?
Update: I thought that (on the contrary) it will be great, if users could see only their memory values on the top.
