Hello,

Where did you run psybnc: in VE or on HN (Hardware Node)?
What kernel do you use? (uname -a output, please)
Mauby limits/barriers are hit? (cat /proc/user_beancounters output after unsuccessfull try of psybnc run, please)
Also strace of psybnc is very appreciated! (http://wiki.openvz.org/Stracing_a_program)

Thanks!

simply put-- If you boot your server into a non-openvz kernel, do you experience the same problem? If so, this is not an openvz problem.

If the app runs fine under non-openvz, the best thing you can send us is a strace output, probably the last 20 lines will clarify the problem and we can advise you directly on a solution.
