Thanks

Hi, are you trying to accomplish source based routing? If so, it is configured in the kernel of the HN.

using venet, I do not believe each VE can have a specific gateway.

I am on a /27 network and i need each virutal machine to have .225 as its default gateway and 255.255.255.224 as its mask.

If .225 is the router gateway IP address, then use .226 for the HN, and .227 through .254 for the VEs, one IP per VE.

The only place where you need the subnet mask or the default gateway is on the HN. OpenVZ automatically handles VE routing for you. After you set up two or three VEs, you will see what I mean.

Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.
