I'm having trouble sshing into my VE from my host node.

When I try to ssh in I get the following

ssh: connect to host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port 22: Connection timed out

However, I am easily able to connect to the VE from the internet at large. Any pointers?

Hello,

Can you strace ssh, please?
Also ssh -vvv output is very usefull.
Provide `route -n` output. Is there iptables on the node?
Can you ping VE from HN?

If you can provide me an access to the node, it'll be quicker
to discover the problem.

Thanks.

SOLVED:

The host I received the machine from had installed iptables (with a very long policy). Disabling iptables did the trick.
