Hi,
I am trying to install a cpanel for VPS version onto my VPS divided using openvz. the ostemplate I used is centos-default. at first it went smoothly, but then it starts to output
........

and it just keeps going, it's been 5+ hours now, and it's still going. the system resources changes, so the machine didn't freeze. it's a duel xeon 3.0 box, I gave the VPS about 1GB of memory, and quite a bit of CPUs. Is this normal?
Here's my openvz configuration:

Its a cpanel script so truly no one can tell you exactly what the problem is without further information from your system / script instance. You should strace the PID for a minute, see if it is looping, stuck on a dns query, timing out connecting to some foreign host, etc etc.

#strace -ff -p PID

Post the results here if you do not know how to interpret them.

my server is giving the same problems i have the diskquota turned off. but i have found part of the problem to be the gd. it seems that you will need to disable gd from installing with cpanel and only install it after cpanel is installed.

actually i also had to raise the barrier limits of the vps conf file because i kept on getting stupid memory allocation errors.
after i adjusted it it no longer hangs.
