Hi!

I saw in your press release that you'll provide rhe4/centos4 kernels which are openvz patched I've some questions about this.

1. Will you provide security updates for the openvz patched kernel up to the life time end of of rhe4/centos4 ?

2. Is there somewhere a Yum repository I can add, so I don't need to check always by hand if there is an update of your packages.

thx for your answers.

1. security updates make RedHat, we just make updates of OVZ kernels based on RedHat ones.
(though I do not exclude the situations that some of security fixes will be done by us before RedHat releases the same fixes)
So basically the answer is "yes".

2. Kir will do yum repo soon I hope.

According to " http://openvz.org/news/updates/rhel4-kernel-2.6.9-023stab016 .2" kernel 2.6.9-023stab016.2 has the same functionality and feature set as base RHEL4u4 beta kernel (2.6.9-39.EL).

The last kernel of RedHat 4 is kernel-2.6.9-42.0.2. What regularity you will update kernel of RedHat?

Thanks
Pepe
