pcompact errors during nightly cron [message #53753]

Some nights we get errors like these:

Can't openat()
Pass2: failed

and

Can't openat()
Pass3: Rescan subtree failed
Error in wait_pid (balloon.c:971): The /usr/sbin/e4defrag2 process failed with code 1

Which don't really give any indication as to which ploop/container is the issue.

Can these be safely ignored or should we be trying to track down what's up?

Also: should we be expecting pcompact to gracefully handle these errors instead of simply reporting them as output to cron?
