I'm trying to install OpenVPN package on a CentOS 6 distro in a OVZ container. Everything goes ok, until i want to setup iptables. When i put in a string i get:

Quote:
"iptables: No chain/target/match by that name"

So, i checked the manual and came by Setting_up_an_iptables_firewall#Setting_up_a_firewall_that_a llows_per-container_configuration (sorry, can't place links). I tried all what is says, but i got stuck with:

Quote:
# modprobe xt_tcpudp
FATAL: Module xt_tcpudp not found.

I have kernel 2.6.32-042stab094.7 #1 SMP Wed Oct 22 12:43:21 MSK 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux and it looks like module xt_tcpudp isn't even there. Modules.dep also does not show it.

How can i run this module without error?

I know this is a pretty old thread, but did you ever figure out how to solve this issue? OpenVZ on CentOS 6 seems pretty useless without this.

Maybe xt_tcpudp is no longer required. The documentation made it sound like this was required to make iptables work inside of containers. It seems to be working without it.
