Is there a certain version of CentOS 6 that I need to install to use the stable/legacy version of OpenVZ, or can I just go with the latest 6.7 version?

Thanks,

Curtis

Hi,

It is compatible.

I have my Openvz on Centos 6.7 lastest updates with no issues.

Regards,

Bazcor

Thanks to both of you for your responses. Do either of you run iptables inside of a container? It doesn't seem to work on CentOS 6 because there are missing kernel modules.

Thanks,

Curtis

Hi,

Yes, it is possible....

In your CT.conf

IPTABLES="ip_tables iptable_filter iptable_mangle ipt_limit ipt_multiport ipt_tos ipt_TOS ipt_REJECT ipt_TCPMSS ipt_tcpmss ipt_ttl ipt_LOG ipt_length ip_conntrack ip_conntrack_ftp ip_conntrack_irc ipt_conntrack ipt_state ipt_helper iptable_nat ip_nat_ftp ip_nat_irc ipt_REDIRECT "

That is my usual entry....

Hmmm... in the vz.conf file there is the following comment:

## WARNING: IPTABLES parameter is deprecated,
## use per-container (not global!) NETFILTER instead

So, in my ct.conf, I added this:

NETFILTER="full"

That seems to have made it work for me. Thanks! Smile
