I have a vps running and it seems to be ok, but I am unable to access to internet. I am only able to access the internal network. What I want to do is give the vps a ip (access to the outside world), without buying a second ip, If its possible. But I have no idea how to do this.
I /think/ I need something like wiki.openvz.org/Virtual_Ethernet_device but I only get as far as wiki.openvz.org/Virtual_Ethernet_device#Configure_devices_in _CT0 ('[host-node]# ifconfig veth101.0 0') and it gives me a error:
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
veth1.0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
If this is the right way, can someone help me with this error. I have though trying to get the openvz to use the host ip, but found nothing, if its even possible. If either of these ways are not right then can you point me the the right direction.
Note: I only have 1 ip address and I have never done anything like this before.
Thanks in advance
