I have an openvz vps, and want to run some script after the network is up. So i put the script in /etc/network/if-up.d/xxx, but the script never run after I reboot my vps (i ask the script to append some text to a file in the /tmp folder, but after rebooting nothing exists in that folder). Manually execute "ifup -a" does run the script.
What might be the problem? I'm using debian 7 template.

I'm not entirely sure this is an openvz problem, but vanilla debian should run these scripts. So I'm at my wits' end.

Not sure what other information I could provide to help diagnose the problem.

Thanks in advance for the help.
