Hello, i repeatedly getting an error in 2 of my biggest VMs which have big cpu, ram assignment.
Quote:Child 61485 exited with status 7
when executed: vzctl restart 860
the VM has constant load of: 118.99
in HyperVM can be seen: "Out of memory, locked" or something.
but bean counters dont show any failcnt
the child is constantly changing when i repeat this vzctl restart command. so killing appears not to help. In fact no vzctl exec command output anything..
vzctl exec 860 shutdown -h now
vzctl exec 860 killall5 -9
vzctl exec 860 kill -9 `ps -ef | grep root | grep -v grep | awk '{print $2}'`
vzctl enter 860 dont works.
These are processes returned by command "vzps axf 860"
pastebin.com/xNf5JpV8
This appears like repeated issue, so i want to ask how to solve, which files to check and what to look for please?
Restarting whole node daily is not good.
Thank you for advices
PS: can i anyhow use VM root files to create clone of the VM and run this VM clone without rebooting OpenVZ node? (just reassigning IPs)
----
update: "exited with status 7" happend again next day at another VM. I managed to return it into working state without node reboot. From HyperVM free control panel, i selected "Recover Corrupted Vps" icon. Description:
Quote: Recover vps will untar your existing ostemplate over your vps. This means that if any of the system files were corrupted, they will be recovered. Since, only the system files are updated and your data files are left untouched, this is a safe means to fix a broken vps.
So i did it because i know i have 1 day old vzdump file of VM.
And within like 3 minutes VM become available and websites loading
Here is /var/log/vzctl.log of that:

HyperVM man told me this "Restore" function does basically this: use system files from VM template file (one which was used to setup VM) and replace current system files, folders in VM, keeping files in /home , mysqls etc.
Please can anyone kindly know how to discover which linux commands was executed so one can do it simply from command line without HyperVM? I mean how to rebuild VMs only system files froma template.
