Hi,

I have a similar question. I upgraded a container from ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04 with a simple "sudo do-release-upgrade". The container is running on a host with "2.6.32-openvz-042stab081.8-amd64 #1 SMP Wed Oct 23 16:24:07 MSK 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux".

I am new to OpenVZ, so I was wondering if this even was the correct way to upgrade a container? The server I upgraded is a web/mailserver, and as far as I can tell, everything works on 14.04 (webserver, mail, etc), except syslog, which shomehow stopped logging..
