Do you recommend the use of NUMAD daemon on the high loaded OpenVZ nodes?

I tough it's a bad idea. Numad do not knew about containers and it will try to balance it as separate processes. It will result as big performance penalty (i.e. child and parent of one process will sit on another numad nodes).

Proprietary version of OpenVZ (Parallels Cloud Server) has hand-made numad daemon variant (numabalanced) and it works pretty fine.
