Hey,
I have been fighting this for a few days now, and I'm not getting anywhere.
uname = 2.6.18-194.8.1.el5.028stab070.4PAE #1 SMP Tue Aug 17 20:20:00 MSD 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
root@server135 [/]# ls -ashl / | grep quota
0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 39 Sep 13 07:51 aquota.group -> /proc/vz/vzaquota/00000019/aquota.group
0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 38 Sep 13 07:51 aquota.user -> /proc/vz/vzaquota/00000019/aquota.user
the above 2 files do exist
The following lines are in /etc/vz/conf/400.conf
DISK_QUOTA=yes
DISKSPACE="31457280:31457280"
DISKINODES="15728640:15728640"
QUOTAUGIDLIMIT="10000"
yet, when I try to initquotas I get the following.
root@server135 [/]# /scripts/initquotas
Quota Mode: Linux
journaled quota support: not available with vzaquota (disabled)
checking out /backup
Quotas have been enabled, however they may not be up to date as quotacheck has been skipped.
Mount shows the following.
root@server135 [/]# mount
/dev/simfs on / type reiserfs (rw,usrquota,grpquota)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)
none on /dev type tmpfs (rw)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw)
none on /tmp type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec)
none on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw)
Do you have any idea why quotas would be failing? I have many hardware servers with the same problem on each of their VE's
