I can't answer all of your questions, but perhaps this will point you in the right direction:

3) this isn't a Wheezy based kernel at all, it's a RHEL 6 kernel, precompiled for Debian

4) no, as Debian updates have no direct connection with this kernel AFAIK

5) OpenVZ RHEL kernels closely follow upstream RHEL releases. In my years of experience, security updates were always released quickly

BUT

seeing as the kernel under http://download.openvz.org/debian/ isn't very recent, it would probably be better if you compiled your own Debian kernel, based on a current OpenVZ RHEL kernel, or use Proxmox kernels.
