kmemsize limit needs to be higher [message #49754]

We run containers mostly unlimited, just with a limit on kmemsize. After an upgrade, I find that the limit needs to be much higher to avoid failures. What might be causing this?

kernel vzctl libc maxheld
vmlinuz-2.6.32-042stab072.10 4.2 libc-2.12.so 4386816
vmlinuz-2.6.32-042stab061.2 3.3 libc-2.12.so 7049216
vmlinuz-2.6.32-042stab076.5 4.2 libc-2.12.so 18874368

Centos 6, Intel 64, 8x2 cores, and the container runs Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit. This container is a lightly loaded DNS server.

Other containers that are more heavily loaded also seem to take about 2x the kmemsize. Sorry, the measurements are not very scientific.
