[root@server ~]# vzctl enter 134
entered into CT 134
root@bender:/# tail got signal 9
                                  exited from CT 134
[root@server ~]#

After typing first line, I typed tail, and then hit space about 8 times, and then got signal 9. Total time was about 2s from pushing enter after vzctl enter 134

It doesn't happen on other containers on the node.

Not sure how to troubleshoot, and I know I shouldn't be using vzctl enter necessarily.

is that a customer VM?

maybe the user is running a script that would kill vzctl processes every 2 seconds when it finds them (deliberately preventing you from entering)?

Yes it is...

It is possible that is what is happening, I couldn't see any processes that jumped out in the process list, but then again I hardly think it will be called /usr/bin/stoppeoplesnoopingintomycontainer.sh

Very Happy
