Can't vzmigrate to new container id [message #49015]

I was under the impression that you migrate to a new containerID simply by using the paramenter <oldid>:<newid> on vzmigrate, however the command doesn't recognize the parameter like that.

I'm running on a CentOS 6 machine with 2.6.32-042stab074.4 kernel.

I don't know what version of vzctl I'm running because I'm don't know how to check, if anyone can tell me how too I'd appreceate it.
