Hi,

- can you check your logs, why the connection via ssh/rsync is - closed?

Please post more info - used OpenVZ Systems/Software:
- disto of both nodes are CentOS? Version?
- OpenVZ (kernel) version?
- vzctl version ?
- Erros in any logs, syslog etc
