I only have made an filesystem backup by copying private/101 to a backup space. Now I need to restore this VM. What would be the best way to do this?

mv /vz/private/101 /vz/private/101.old; cp -a backup/private/101 /vz/private/101

That's all. of course stop the 101 before copying container from backup.
