Hi,

I've got a VPS that works on almost everything, except it can't seem to run most network audit tools properly. Specifically, the area of primary concern is this ettercap error:

ettercap -C (then try to capture on the network interface:)

ettercap NG-0.7.4_git copyright 2001-2011 ALoR & NaGA

ERROR : 9, Bad file descriptor
[ec_send.c:send_init:129]

libnet_init(LIBNET_LINK_ADV) failed: unknown physical layer type 0xffff

It works fine if I run it against files, but OVZ's "venet" interface seems to be breaking it.

What's going on here, and how do I fix this? Thank you.

ifconfig -a output:
