I am unable to dump a VE due to the following error: too many of groups 4066,1120(apache2)

debian:/vz/dump# vzctl chkpnt 100 --dumpfile /tmp/Dump.100
Setting up checkpoint...
	suspend...
	dump...
Can not dump container: Invalid argument
Error: too many of groups 4066,1120(apache2)
Checkpointing failed
debian:/vz/dump# uname -r
2.6.32-5-openvz-686
debian:/vz/dump# vzctl --version
vzctl version 3.0.24

I used the search-function and Google, but all I could find was an old kernel-bug reported in 2005.

Is this a new bug or is there a way to fix things in order to prevent the error and get a nice dump? Smile

Cheers!

It seems to be a definite bug, that has been reported about 1 year ago, but isn't fixed yet:
