Vswap.
Ok, trying to understand this fully. I get the basics idea of it however what I missing, probably because I am thinking too much about it, but what is it doing?
So I allocate ram 512mb swap1024mb
From this I know my true allocation is 512mb of physical memory, over that it will Vswap up to 1024mb. Between 512mb and 1024mb it is not using any disk IO, only when the node has exhausted the memory on the node will it actually start to use /swap and of course start utilising the disk.
So my question after all that is what Vswap is doing? It artificially slows the container however it is actually using memory on the node that is not currently being utilised up to 1024mb?
Confused...
