Hi,

I have 2 machines running CentOS6.2 with openvz
with 4 VE's on each machine.

4 of this VE's are identical to the other (in the other machine)
so lets say....
PC1:1001-1004 = PC2:1001-1004

what i need its that if PC1 fails. heartbeat turns on 1001-1004 on PC2

I have the following configuration.
ha.cf
logfacility daemon
node node01
node node02
keepalive 1
warntime 10
deadtime 30
initdead 120
udpport 694
ucast em1 192.168.1.2
ucast em1 192.168.1.3
auto_failback off

haresources
node01 vzha

vzha, its a script that does vzctl start 1001 - 1004
or stop them.
-------------------------
everything works fine. my problem is that
node01 thinks node02 is down, and
node02 thinks node02 is down.
So I have a split-brain issue.

maybe someone can help me with this issue. thanks.

This is a heartbeat problem not an openvz problem. Check /var/log/messages. Make sure you can ping between the hosts. Also, try adding the following to your ha.cf:

ping_group [ list of valid routers or hosts ]

If the two can't see each other, check firewall configs??

But it's not an OpenVZ issue. heartbeat should work fine, and your configs look OK to me.

sean
