Firmware Conflict on Latest Kernel [message #44775]

I am running CentOS 6.2 with OpenVZ 2.6.32-042stab036.1 on x86_64 and trying to update to the latest build vzkernel-2.6.32-042stab046.1.x86_64.rpm

The vzkernel-firmware is giving me a conflict with the current version:
file /lib/firmware/isci/isci_firmware.bin from install of vzkernel-firmware-2.6.32-042stab046.1.noarch conflicts with file from package vzkernel-firmware-2.6.32-042stab036.1.noarch
file /usr/share/doc/vzkernel-firmware-2.6.32/WHENCE from install of vzkernel-firmware-2.6.32-042stab046.1.noarch conflicts with file from package vzkernel-firmware-2.6.32-042stab036.1.noarch

Has anybody else seen this and what I am doing wrong? I have updated to the latest version for the last four months without issue but not it is not happy.

1) Turn off openvz repo (enabled=0)
2) Remove pkg: yum remove vzkernel-firmware-2.6.32-042stab044.11.noarch
3) Update system: yum update -y
4) Turn on repo openvz
5) Update system again
6) Enjoy Smile

You can force yum to exclude packages on command line or in config file.

/etc/yum.conf

and add:
exclude = kernel*

What I did was exclude on the command line during the update.

yum --exclude=kernel* update
