Hello,

I have similar problem. My error message is like below when I do 'service network restart':

Shutting down loopback interface: [ OK ]
SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device
Bringing up loopback interface: Device lo does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.
[FAILED]
Bringing up interface venet0: Device venet0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.
[FAILED]

Note that here it is 'No such device' instead of 'File exists' as originally raised by lutfi88.

My configurations are

Host => CentOS 5.7 64 bit
Guest => CentOS 5.6 64 bit

To make things complicated (Smile), the host is actually running inside Virtualbox as guest in Fedora 14 (32 bit) host.

Please let me know if somebody has any suggestions.

Thanks

PS: Sorry lutfi88, this is not an answer. We are sailing in the same boat Smile.
