Hi all,

After 17 days of up-time , today one of our node server gave us connection problems and needed to restart. While that happened the main server's SSH connection getting lost. We can ping the VPS Servers but cant reach to the them through 80 port or ssh also. We are using SolusVM and the control panel sent us error notifications on 3 different time. Today the solusvm control panel lost the connection on ; 04:35, 08:35, and 09:35 am.

Server Cent OS 6 with 2.6.32-042stab039.3 kernel.

I have checked all the logs but cant find any error. I'm not a Linux geek and cant find any proper solution. After 3rd restart , the node never gave us any problem again. Node is up now for 7 hours.

Anyone can please check my logs please? I have attached the full message log. Also let me know which log files should I also need to check?

Thanks advance.

I've checked your messages.txt file and it really does not contain any useful information. However it's expected: when kernel crashes, nobody can rad error messages from inside kernel and write it to log file on local filesystem.

However you had configure crashdumps, and as far as I see kdump saved 2 kernel core files
kdump: saved a vmcore to /var/crash/2011-10-16-11:39
and
kdump: saved a vmcore to /var/crash/2011-10-16-12:44

Seems these files have huge size (64Gb?), so it makes sense to investigate it on right on the node. Could you please provide me ssh access to your node for investigation (via private messaging)?

thank you,
Vasily Averin
