I recently noticed the following scenario on my development machine:

- HN briefly loses network connectivity
- VMs (naturally) lose connectivity
- HN regains connectivity, same network settings as before
- VMs still cannot connect outside of the HN

kernel: vzkernel-2.6.32-042stab037.1.x86_64
tools: vzctl-3.0.29.3-1.x86_64
OS: Fedora 14
setup: basic venet networking, HN and VMs on same subnet, no iptables

If I remove and add the IPs to VMs again, connectivity is restored right away. So ie.:
vzctl set VM_ID --ipdel VM_IP
vzctl set VM_ID --ipadd VM_IP

Either that, or a more drastic vz service reload, of course.

I didn't notice this on our production machines but than again, network doesn't drop there, so perhaps that's why. Anyway, anyone else seeing this?

If anyone can confirm, I'll file a bug.
