then maybe you can tell me why the latest RHEL5 kernel has the latest version number in combination with the openVZ patch version.

ovzkernel-2.6.18-274.3.1.el5.028stab094.2.x86_64.rpm

well it's because they take the latest kernel released by CentOS team and patch it with their own

so maybe are not connected but it does make a difference to openVZ Razz
