Is there a way to suspend the state of a VM to disk in order to restore
it later ?
I know there is vzmigrate, but this is not what I am looking for.
Thanks in advance.

vzctl chkpnt VEID
vzctl restore VEID
man vzctl for details

vzmigrate is a simple shell script, you can look through it and see how
it's done in details (including the freeze/unfreeze phase).

I did (before I posted the question) but I could not find that option in
the manual.
I run Debian and vzctl is from the package.
I assume those features did not make it yet to Debian package.
Thanks.

Ignore me - the feature is indeed there.
Sorry for unnecessary traffic in the list.
