Hi all,

I'm using a virtual server on an OpenVZ system. Currently I use Debian Lenny and would like to upgrade the OS to Debian Squeeze.
The provider told me I can't update but only move to a new machine.

Isn't there a way to about an OpenVZ virtual machine?

If you control the machine you can do it yourself.
