Hello,
I have
Host Node running Slackware with Linux 2.6.32.28.power_hn.
patched with patch-feoktistov.1-combined
my tools are: vzctl-3.0.28.3/ and vzquota-3.0.12/

My hardware is poweredge 2950 with 2 + 4 + 4 = 10 NICS

I am trying to get a bridge **inside** a container working but I can't do it.
I use NETDEV eth1 and eth2 to pass them to my CT100 VE.
This is working because I see the real-physical eth1 and eth2 of my hardware going to my CT100 and disappearing from my CT0. iptraf is working with these interfaces and I can see any broadcast traffic on them.

But and because there is a "but", brctl addbr br0 INSIDE the CT100 doesn't work neither I can link the real eth1 and eth2 to any bridge interface I want.

I need to do this in order to have a virtual machine working as a bridge between two real network interfaces.

Is it possible to do so INSIDE a container?

Thank you
Gerard MAMOU

Hello
This is the answer of my problem:

FEATURES="bridge:on "

have to be added in the /etc/vz/conf/CTID.conf file

as soon as added, restart the CT, and brctl addbr br0
will work fine.

Thank you
