Hello,

I'm trying to install ovz-web-panel on Debian 6.0 64-bit.

I have installed all the necessary components:

 • Ruby 1.8.5+ (1.9 is not supported)
 • RubyGems
 • Ruby SQLite3 support

But after installation of ovz-web-panel through the command:
wget -O - http[I-cannot-use-links-yet]://ovz-web-panel.googlecode.com/svn/installer/ai.sh | sh

It tells me that the login adress to my control panel is http[I-cannot-use-links-yet]://myserver:3000 and not http[I-cannot-use-links-yet]://myip:3000

Is it necessary to change FDQN before installation in /etc/hosts? And if it is, what should I change to. I'm pretty new to all this, so I'm a little bit confused.

Greetings

Ovz-web-panel is a third party project. While some other user who uses it and frequents here might know the answer to your question, you'll have a better chance of getting a proper answer at ovz-web-panel forum or mailing list (if they have them).
