We installed openvz, vzctl and vzquota on a Fedora 14 machine to run containers as clients. We are able to start, enter, stop, destroy containers and set up ip, networking, routing, etc.
I then set up NFS on both client containers and server machines. I followed the tutorials here to set up NFS on the client containers and server machine:
http://wiki.openvz.org/NFS
http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/ar01s04.html
When I execute the mount command from the client container to mount from the external server machine, I get this error:
mount.nfs: portmap query retrying: RPC: Program/version mismatch
I CAN execute mount command successfully on the client container to mount from the openvz host within the SAME machine, but I CAN'T execute mount command without it giving me an error on the client container to mount from a DIFFERENT machine server.
I believe I can ping the external server machine IP from the client container though. So what do you think is the problem?
I am running vzctl version 3.0.XX, openvz kernel version 2.6.XX and NFS version 2 or 3.
