Unable to shut down Ubuntu Lucid containers as they immediately restart themselves.

This happens both when I try to shut down from inside the container with "shutdown now" or from HN with "vzctl stop xxx".

Stop they do but immediately start up again.

I can only assume that I have done something to the template that causes this behaviour.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
