I'v updated my lenny 2.6.26-1-openvz-686 to squeeze kernel 2.6.32-5-openvz-686.

There are 3 networking cards at my PC:

D-Link System Inc RTL8139 Ethernet (rev 10)
Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8169 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 10)
Intel Corporation 82574L Gigabit Network Connection

8139 works fine, but gigabit-cards "down" after system boots:
if I start to ping, after 60 packets I'm loosing ping. But in arp -a, I've see network MAC's of the plugged network.

Is any solution to fix it?

Hello
I am having similar network issues with a different kernels.

We use proxmox-ve . and have 12 open-vz containers.

We were using 2.6.32 and after an upgrade had issues with an ldap container . it would freeze during a vzdump process.

reverting to 2.6.18 solved our issues.

on 2 other systems I did some upgrades and since then the networks have been less reliable. those systems use samba to stream media. we have pauses randomly . to fix them I intend to reinstall the host .

now I know that this does not give full detail on our issues. I am traveling and just wanted to post this in order to let you know someone else has similar issues.
if you need more info please ask.

was the network working good up until the upgrade?

we have similar issues using proxmox-ve , but with 2.6.32 and 2.6.18 kernels on 2 different systems.
