I was having trouble with the latest stable version of the rhel5 kernel (70.4) and took the plunge with 77.1 version of the testing tree. It seemed to fix the problem.

I go back a couple of days later to upgrade another machine, and now the latest testing version is 70.7. A couple of days later, it's 78.1. Now it's like 70.14. All within the testing tree.

Can someone explain what's going on with the different version numbers. All of them seem to be based on the same RH kernel release, so I'm not sure what the differnence is between 70.14 and 78.1 or why there are two different releases in the same tree.

Any ideas?
