Can't ping HN from VEs; ssh to VEs connects directly to HN [message #41024]

I've just setup a hardware node as SolusVM master + slaves. After successfully creating a container on the node, I went to SSH to the VPS, but it connects directly to the hardware node, displaying the node's hostname/prompt (I have confirmed that I'm not simply misusing my shell).

I can enter the container using vzctl from the node's prompt, and after doing this, I issued a few ping commands to test connectivity -- the container can't connect to anything on the outside, or the hardware node's main IP.

Any recommendations?
