Hi,

I use a 3ware 9650SE-4LPML RAID Controller with an Linux Debian 2.6.26-2-openvz-amd64 kernel.

Sometimes my RAID break down et return this fallowing logs :

Aug 21 01:51:05 sht8 kernel: sd 4:0:0:0: WARNING: (0x06:0x002C): Command
(0x2a) timed out, resetting card.
Aug 21 01:51:39 sht8 kernel: 3w-9xxx: scsi4: WARNING: (0x06:0x0037):
Character ioctl (0x108) timed out, resetting card.
Aug 21 01:52:22 sht8 kernel: 3w-9xxx: scsi4: AEN: INFO (0x04:0x005E):



driver version : 2.26.08.003-2.6.18RH
firmware version : FE9X 4.10.00.007


Have you ever seen this kind of message ? Do you know if this card is ok with this kernel ?

Can you execute a few command for me to understand your environment?

Try turning off the cache and see whether it helps.
