Hi,

I get "No module aar81xx found for kernel" while installing openvz kernel.

here is my lspci if needed, os is Centos4.3

going futher, server couldnt boot into ovz kernel:

The last few lines of the console are:

creating root device
mounting root filesystem
mount: error 2 mounting ext3
mount: error 2 mounting none
switching to new root
switchroot: mount failed: 22
umount /initrd/dev failed: 2
Kernel Panic: Attempted to kill init

Please, provide information about kernel you use and
lspci -n output also.

In 2.6.8-022stabXXX kernel series there is no driver for
Marvell SATA Controller.

In 2.6.16-026testXXX kernel series some driver for Marvell SATA Controller presents and is compiled in. But I'm almost sure, that your particular device (MV88SX6041) isn't supported by this driver (To be absolutely sure I need lspci -n output).

If this is the case, you can compile driver yourself.

excuse me, how can I compile the driver? do I have to recompile the kernel?
