Hi,

I think that you should pay attention at the last message:

I have similar file on my system and it belongs to vzctl-3.0.24-1.

# rpm -qf /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-venet0
vzctl-3.0.24-1

Why is it called as "ifcfg-ifcfg-venet0" on your system?

I'm aware of the error message, and I'm not sure why it displayed ifcfg-ifcfg-venet0.

I reinstalled all of vz's services and it worked fine, so its resolved.
