I just bought a newly released motherboard. An Asus M4A88TD-M. Trying to build a server with 16 gigs of ram and the new AMD 6 core CPU. This board has Sata 3 and USB 3.

Might not have been smart to get the latest and greatest. The 2.6.27 kernel doesn't work with the network hardware. It might also not work with the Sata 3 hardware. (Still testing)

However - the new 2.6.32 kernel works.

Is it possible to backport the hardware support to the 2.6.27 kernel? Still not confident in the 2.6.32 kernel's stability.

Also - it would be handy for me if the nvidia driver and other video driver modules were compiled in so I can use it with high res graphics.
