Has anyone seen a HOWTO for getting OpenVZ running with Slackware as a hostOS? I'm thinking of creating one, but wondered if somebody already wrote one.

finally i've managed to run OpenVZ on Slackware 13. However only 2.6.32 kernel worked for me and i still had problems with iptables - nat table did not work:

# iptables -L -t nat
iptables v1.4.6: can't initialize iptables table `nat': Table does not exist
(do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.)

but then i found here:
http://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1473
that i need to apply this patch:
http://bugzilla.openvz.org/attachment.cgi?id=1169
to the kernel source and recompile it.

don't know about any other serious bugs, but thankfully this patch worked for me.

if anyone needs it i can make a step by step tutorial how to make it run.

Hi junglistikal, I'm interested in running ovz on slackware 13.0, so if you want to write a small howto and make it available somewhere it'd be great for me. I know other people who would be interested too.

Thanks a lot in advance...
